Easy to install

After removing the old cover, use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the four major attachment clips on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red in the image below. Also note the locating tab slots, which are yellow, that must be removed also.
Replace the old battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening in the fob, and that the"-" negative side is facing the rubber buttons.
Reattach the passenger-side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you have completed this, insert the fob for the driver side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything works correctly, your car should activate the parking lights and your doors will automatically lock.
